Wednesday night, President Donald Trump ripped Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for threatening conservative Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh and demanded “serious action” be taken immediately against the top congressional Democrat. These were the two SCOTUS appointments the president made, and Schumer targeted them for violence when he said, “I want to tell you, Neil Gorusch, and you, Brett Kavanaugh, you have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
The president took to social media to weigh in sharing a video clip of Schumer’s remarks through Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH):
“This is a direct & dangerous threat to the U.S. Supreme Court by Schumer. If a Republican did this, he or she would be arrested, or impeached. Serious action MUST be taken NOW!”

Earlier Wednesday, Schumer, like an animal, threatened in a blazing speech outside the U.S. Supreme Court that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh would “pay the price” if they vote against pro-choice advocates in a high-profile abortion case.
That’s the world we now live in, where the top Democrat in the U.S. Senate feels he has the power to threaten members from a co-equal branch of government. Even if he wasn’t talking about threats of violence but instead was talking about impeaching the two justices for not ruling the way he wants, isn’t that what the Democrats recently impeached Trump over? Abuse of power? Chuck Schumer used the threat of impeachment and trial to oust the two SCOTUS justices if they didn’t vote the way he wanted. That’s illegal.

Over the last three years, women’s reproductive rights have come under attack in a way we haven’t seen in modern history. From Louisiana, to Missouri, to Texas, Republican legislatures are waging a war on women, all women, and they’re taking away fundamental rights. I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.
Schumer was referring to a Supreme Court challenge to a Louisiana law that requires doctors who perform abortions to possess hospital admitting privileges. Kavanaugh sent signals that he’s leaning toward ruling that the state’s abortion law is constitutional, and how is it not?
Democrats like Schumer don’t hold the Constitution up as the standard. Rather, they hold what they want as part of their agenda up as the standard and nothing else.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts issued a rare rebuke of Schumer’s threat, calling it “inappropriate” and “dangerous” for a top lawmaker to make.
“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter,” Roberts said.
Justin Goodman, a boot-licking sycophant for Schumer, replied to Roberts by accusing him of adopting the “right wing’s deliberate misinterpretation” of the Senate Minority Leader’s comment, “while remaining silent when President Trump attacked Justices Sotomayor and Ginsberg last week.”
Can you believe that Schumer’s response to complaints of his threats to two U.S. Supreme Court justices was to blame conservatives? This man is out of control.
Last week, Trump argued that Justices Sotomayor and Ginsburg should recuse themselves from cases involving his administration over their previous criticisms of him and his policies. “I just don’t know how they can not recuse themselves for anything having to do with Trump or Trump-related,” he said.
This is apples and oranges and meant to muddy up the conversation. The president didn’t threaten violence or impeachment against the two radical SCOTUS justices; he simply said they should recuse themselves because of their past behavior.
Chuck Schumer cannot be allowed to get away with this. He spends a considerable time every day lying about the Trump administration, and conservative justices on the court. If he’s allowed to go free from even censure, it will set a precedent for even worse behavior in the future. The president is correct. Serious action must be taken now.
