Radical anti-Semite Ilhan Omar has introduced a bill that would nullify the Alien Enemies Act, which allows the president to restrict travel from countries that pose a danger.
This bill, if passed, would allow radical extremists from all over the world just looking to make a martyr of themselves — or die in trying.
Omar claims that President Trump is looking to ban Muslims from the country like he already has.
The truth is the Muslim countries that the President has banned makes up just 5% of the world’s Muslims.
Countries that could be added are Iran and their many little puppet nations.
We have that law for a reason, and the president’s number one mandate in the Constitution is to protect this nation and the people living within our borders.
What this is, is a futile attempt on her part to paint President Trump as a racist. She knows it will pass the House and fail in the Senate. But even if it passes the Senate, Trump will never sign the bill.
“We must learn from historical mistakes built on fear of the other and embrace a fair and just immigration system by repealing the Alien Enemies Act,” Omar concluded.
Then-candidate Donald Trump angered many when he called for a “Muslim ban” during the 2016 presidential campaign, but once in office he rebranded his policy as a travel ban on countries that were designated as terror threats.
“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on!” he said in a statement on December 2015.
“We have no choice. We have no choice. We have no choice,” he added.
